Grief doesn't follow a timeline, and it doesn't only come from death. It can come from losing someone you love, a relationship, your health, your identity, or the future you imagined.
My approach combines professional grief-support training with lived experience — a space where you don't have to explain, minimize, rush, or "fix" what you're feeling. You're allowed to grieve. You're allowed to change. And you're allowed to find your way forward while still honoring what you've lost.
There is no single right way to grieve. Our work together is personalized to your loss, your story, your nervous system, your beliefs, and where you are right now.
Depending on what feels supportive, sessions may weave together any of these:
If any of these are part of your story, you belong here:
A private, judgment-free space to talk through what you're carrying, better understand your grief, and develop tools that support you between sessions.
One personalized 60-minute session for immediate support, reflection, grounding, or guidance through a difficult moment.

This structure can be adapted to what you need most each week.

I didn't come to this because I studied loss from a distance. After an accident changed my health and left me navigating years of chronic pain, I experienced loss in ways I hadn't understood before — not only the loss of people I loved, but the loss of my health, independence, identity, relationships, and the life I thought I would be living.
Through some of my hardest seasons, I learned how isolating grief can feel — and how powerful it is when someone is simply willing to meet you where you are. Those experiences led me to become a Certified Grief Support Practitioner.
I can't take someone's grief away, and I don't believe that's the goal. I want to create the kind of space I once needed myself: somewhere you can be honest about what hurts, feel less alone, and slowly discover what moving forward looks like for you.
You're allowed to grieve. You're allowed to change. And you're allowed to find your way forward while still honoring what you've lost.Kate's promise to you
Beyond individual support, I believe deeply in creating spaces where people can find one another.
This work will keep growing through grief circles, workshops, community gatherings, and retreats centered on grief, connection, resilience, and rebuilding. If you'd like to be the first to know, I'd love to keep you posted.
I'm a Certified Grief Support Practitioner, and I pair that training with everything my own losses taught me. Certification through an accredited Grief Coach Certification program.
You don't need to know exactly what you need before reaching out. We can start with a conversation — no cost, no pressure. Kate personally reads every message and will reach out to find a time that works.
Join the interest list for upcoming grief circles, workshops, and retreats. You'll hear first when new gatherings open, and you're never obligated to join.
Grief coaching provides emotional support, education, reflection, and practical tools for navigating loss and life transitions. It is not psychotherapy, medical care, crisis intervention, or a substitute for treatment from a licensed mental health professional.
If your needs fall outside the scope of coaching, I'll gently encourage you to connect with an appropriate licensed professional or additional resource. You deserve the right support — and sometimes that means more than one kind.
If you're in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, please reach out right now: call or text 988 (the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, U.S.) or go to your nearest emergency room.
Maybe you're grieving someone you loved. Maybe you're grieving who you used to be. Maybe your whole life looks different and you're trying to understand who you are now. Wherever you are, we can start with a conversation.
